Final Days of Joy School

{Imagination & Creativity}

How better to experience the joys of these two values than playing dress up and having a "tea" party?

A lil' Mt. Dew just for me to keep up!

We even had a seat for "Mr. Nobody" our imaginary guest.

{Isabel's Hospital Visit}

Sweet Isabel was hospitalized with pneumonia just before her big move to Japan. Poor dear. Becky and I took the kids to the hospital to hopefully brighten her day. Becky made sweet "sushi" in representation of Japan. She of course got better and now is experiencing a whole new part of the world. She'll have so much to tell us about when she comes back!

Easter Rewind

Due to the fact that we were on our cruise during the Easter holiday, we celebrated it a little late. I was not about to let the little ones of our family miss the chance to play outdoors and hunt for eggs. That would be a sin. Sooo....we stuffed ourselves with a traditional Easter meal and headed to the park for the festivities.

Rare

Not many little girls can boast having a tea party on her daddy's stage before a concert, but Grace can.

I wonder what her little mind thinks when she watches him perform? I love how she can spot one of his songs before he even begins singing, and that she makes special requests for "Daddy's music." If I am Jeff's #1 fan, she is certainly his #2.

Missing

Despite all the fun had and sights seen on the cruise, SHE was a sight for sore hearts.

We missed her dearly. While we were soaking up sun, Grace was soaking up some Mamaw and "Wexis" time in Utah. I cannot express how incredible it was to arrive home from our journey to be met by our little girl. My mom made the trip down a couple days before we arrived. Thanks Mom for saving us the drive and taking such good care of our baby!

Family Cruise '10: Puerta Vallarta

Once we had commandeered a large van, we were off to tour the city...

The guys got a kick out of stopping by area where Predator was filmed.

We were taken to a private spot to snorkel.

Maybe TOO "private"! Jeff gave his sister-in-laws a view they will never forget.

Ahh, ice cold soda from a glass bottle! A nice break from shopping.

We FINALLY found some fresh oisters.
{I paid dearly for these babies.}
